Threaded for protection: MOCAP’s plugs keep products safe from damage, dirt, moisture

These threaded plastic plugs are designed specially to eliminate the hazards of damage, contamination, and moisture when items are constantly moved around.

Recommended most for production stages such as shipping or storage, these threaded plugs are available in a wide variety of sizes and models.

Threaded plugs for standard, metric applications

MOCAP’s threaded plugs are constructed to fit a broad range of standard and metric threads, plus various type of threaded ports. These plastic plugs are available in an impressive range of styles and materials, and the company stocks them for immediate delivery. Customers who require smaller quantities can select Mini-Paks or Micro-Paks. MOCAP carries the following seven categories of threaded plugs:

• General-purpose plugs. Plugs made from polypropylene and available for metric, British Standard Pipe (BSP), and unified or straight threads. The BSP and metric models have knurled heads and slots for simple on/off tasks, while the other styles have moulded-in, O-ring-style beads and external lips on the flanges to prevent contamination.
• Plugs for MS-21921 flareless tube and nut assemblies. Threaded plugs made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and including knurled grips to simplify application, as well as superior seals when tightened by hand.
• Plugs for NPT threads. Polypropylene plugs that include hex sockets, square heads, or square-head flanged designs.
• Push-in plugs for SAE or NPT threads. LDPE threaded plugs that are designed and built to snap into place easily to protect threads.
• Sealing plugs. Available in red polypropylene and yellow nylon for metric, BSP, and unified/straight threads. MOCAP offers models with factory-fit neoprene O-rings for secure seals.
• Threaded plastic plugs. LDPE plugs that are designed particularly for flared JIC fittings, flat-faced O-ring fittings, and inverted flared fittings. The MOCAP team also offers polypropylene models for straight thread O-ring ports.
• Universal-thread plugs. An LDPE variation that MOCAP has constructed for maximum flexibility, fitting many thread sizes and styles with easy push-in and turn to lock into place.
