MOCAP has grown into the continent’s top producer of rubber, plastic, and vinyl products for protection, masking, or finishing applications since its founding nearly 40 years ago. The company supplies an unmatched selection that includes plugs, grips, and three types of protective plastic caps: tapered, friction-fit, and threaded caps.
Built specifically to protect threads and fittings, threaded caps are recommended for shielding items against moisture, contamination, dust, and other types of damage during the production, storage, and shipping phases of operations.
The three different series
These units are made from red, low-density polyethylene, and the MOCAP crew adds knurled grips that make them easier to apply. A key advantage is the seals, which are stronger than ones on caps from competitors and can be applied with simple hand tightening. Although used most commonly for protection purposes, threaded caps are also suitable for masking tasks in plating and painting applications.

MOCAP stocks these threaded caps at its headquarters in Park Hills, MO for immediate shipment. The company supplies them in mini-paks, micro-packs, and regular case quantities.
