Vacuum gauges

THI, the manufacturer of the original DV-4 and DV-6 thermocouple vacuum gauge tubes, produces vacuum measurement equipment with exceptional stability, accuracy and reliability, even under the most demanding conditions. The company’s thermocouple gauge tubes/sensors are precision sensing devices designed to provide accurate measurement and control of vacuum. They are fully compensated for both temperature and rate of temperature change, and are calibrated for nitrogen or air (though conversion factors for other gases are available). 

The thermocouple gauge tubes are equipped with a rugged but sensitive, time-tested THI thermopile sensor, making them ideal for a wide range of applications, from air conditioning, freeze drying and refrigeration, to power transformers, appliance manufacturing and more. Three vacuum ranges are available, as well as a diverse selection of fittings and many designs for harsh environments. 

Vacuum controller

The Digital AVC is a microprocessor-controlled vacuum gauge meter without readout. In addition to the analog output of zero to one VDC, pressure measurements can be accessed by an RS232 serial port using Torr, mbar or Pa. The meter features a precision A/D converter, along with a microprocessor, which measures the thermocouple vacuum gauge tube’s signal output, converts the measurement to a pressure reading employing the gauge tube’s well-defined output/pressure function, and transmits the result.

The Digital AVC Vacuum Gauge Meter is available for two of THI’s most popular gauge tube families: the DV-6 and the DV-4. Ideal applications include cryogenics, vacuum insulation, pharmaceutical production, freeze drying, plasma coating and more.
