thermoplastic valves

IPEX offers a wide range of valve units.

IPEX offers an unmatched range of piping solutions, including a comprehensive lineup of thermoplastic valves. Decades of design and manufacturing experience have taught the IPEX team that lightweight, long-lasting, maintenance-free valves save customers time and money – by offering high quality, performance, and reliability every time.

Part of the reason for the consistent success of IPEX’s valves is the high-tech, automated manufacturing and testing facility. This plant imbues every valve with unsurpassed reliability.

Solutions for all client needs

Among the advantages of investing in IPEX thermoplastic valves are extended service life, exceptional temperature range, performance, and chemical resistance. Whether the application involves isolation, diversion, control, or throttling, IPEX has many solutions for all process system requirements.

Some examples of IPEX’s lineup of thermoplastic valves:

  • Ball valves. Typically used for on/off service. Range goes from simple moulded-in-place construction to high-end industrial designs.
  • Butterfly valves. Good for simple on/off service; also recommended for processes that require exact throttling.
  • Diaphragm valves. Perfect for applications that require precise flow throttling. The weir-style design, with no dead space in the valve, is ideal for abrasive slurries. Frequently used in high-purity applications, due to a design that prevents friction and subsequent particle creation during cycling.
  • Check & vent valves. Recommended whenever prevention backflow of process media is necessary – for example, when two incompatible liquids must not mix, or when reverse flow would result in undesirable drainage of a system line or tank. Air-release check valves allow trapped air or gas to escape safely, preventing system damage.
  • Specialized valves. Examples available include sediment strainers that trap suspended particles flowing in the process line to help protect downstream components, as well as solenoid valves for high-cycle applications requiring remote operation and precise control, and lab valves for small-scale on/off requirements.
  • Valve actuation. IPEX recommends automation as a solution for precise control of multiple valves in a system, when valves are remotely location, or when constant monitoring and adjustment are vital to a process. Users can fit pneumatic and electric actuators on ball, multiport, and butterfly valves to facilitate automation.

IPEX valves are part of complete systems of pipe, valves, and fittings.
