Teledyne Hastings manufactures three categories of thermocouple vacuum gauge tubes and sensors.
Durham Instruments carries world-renowned, innovative test and measurement devices for industrial use, including thermocouple vacuum gauge tubes and sensors by Teledyne Hastings. An American manufacturer with an international reputation for a broad variety of quality vacuum and gas mass-flow instruments, Teledyne Hastings produces three distinct categories of these sensors and tubes.
The lineup includes the original DV-4 and DV-6 models of these tubes and sensors, as well as the DV-5 range. All provide accurate measurement and vacuum control.
With THI thermopile sensor
Following more than 60 years of international success, these precision sensing devices are celebrated for their high dependability. Teledyne Hastings thermocouple vacuum gauge tubes and sensors are fully compensated for temperature and rate of temperature change, and each one uses the rugged, but sensitive and time-tested, THI thermopile sensor. The short, firmly connected thermocouples have no suspended welds to external heaters; proprietary tooling and process-control improvements extend the operational lifespans of these instruments.
These thermocouple vacuum gauge sensors and tubes are reliable and repeatable, with stable calibration, and their rugged construction and non-contaminating design are added advantages. The standard gauge tube has a hermetically sealed base with glass, stainless steel- and nickel-plated parts, and a colour-coded label. It operates at a maximum temperature of 100 degrees Celsius and has a maximum pressure of 150 psig. The three series from which customers can select are as follows:
Versatile devices, these tubes and sensors also work for such applications as vacuum insulators, freeze drying, transformer oil refills, and pharmaceuticals. Durham Instruments recommends them for use in industries like general manufacturing, aerospace, automation, food processing, forestry, education, the medical field, the military, mining, packaging, power generation, alternative energy, transportation, and research and development.
