Thermo-Kinetics now supplies Sierra Instruments products in Quebec

In Quebec, the company now offers Sierra Instruments products. Thermo-Kinetics has become the exclusive distributor for Sierra’s flow products in the province, including the popular QuadraTherm flow meters.

Thermo-Kinetics supplies two models of Sierra’s QuadraTherm thermal flow meters, which are among the manufacturer’s fastest-growing products. The QuadraTherm 640i is the most accurate insertion-probe meter for air/gas mass-flow rate measurement available. It achieves unprecedented levels of gas mass flow-rate accuracy, with plus or minus ¾ of a per cent of reading above 50 per cent of full scale. This marks an accuracy breakthrough in thermal dispersion technology, achieving high precision with “per cent of reading” accuracy; this rivals Coriolis technology for the first time.

The QuadraTherm 780i has many of the features that the 640i has, but it achieves a high accuracy of plus or minus ½ a per cent of reading. Users can reduce straight-run requirements with built-in flow conditioning with the 780i, and it needs only one diameter up and zero downstream diameters. Both models have patented DrySense sensors to eliminate drift, and both can validate in the field for easy in situ calibration.
