York Fluid Controls offers Sandpiper's Signature Series.

York Fluid Controls Ltd. offers the country’s most diverse selection of pumps, an inventory that many businesses count on. These products come from a broad variety of manufacturers, such as Sandpiper, renowned for high-quality air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps. The Sandpiper Signature Series comprises three models of innovative, high-performance industrial valve pumps. These units have been engineered to deliver industry-leading durability and performance, even in extremely severe applications and work environments.

For intermittent and continuous duty

The Signature Series can support a very broad range of pumping applications. All three of these valve pumps from Sandpiper can handle water, suspended solids, high-viscosity fluids, and corrosive liquids. All three also are suitable for both continuous and intermittent duty, as well as various kinds of installation.

The Signature heavy-duty flap valve pump has a construction with a large flow area, and it allows solids up to line size to pass directly through the pump. The bottom discharge porting allows solids to pass through instead of settling inside the chamber, which eliminates premature wear and damage. Other major advantages of these industrial valve pumps include dry prime suction lift of up to 24 feet in water and minimal maintenance.

Signature’s series of heavy-duty ball valve pumps is designed for liquids containing settling, suspended, or floating solids. These industrial valve pumps have down-, top- or side-ported options, the first two for containing solids and the other for use in confined spaces. Another benefit is the weighted check valve balls, each of which has a metallic core that is 30 to 60 per cent heavier than a solid rubber check ball – which helps to increase performance with viscous liquids. Among the other advantages are diaphragm wear pads and heavy-duty actuator plungers.

The Signature line of containment-duty ball valve pumps is also available from York Fluid Controls. This is the only complete line of AODD pumps with superior containment of hazardous liquids, which protects employees, the environment, and the pumps. One feature is visual leak detection, which alerts users of any diaphragm breaches before any system liquid can escape.
