The Rosta Group welcomes highly experienced new CEO Urs Stieger

Urs Stieger has taken the top helm at Rosta.

Rosta has provided top technological solutions for businesses worldwide for three-quarters of a century now – including more than three decades in Canada, through local affiliate Rosta Inc. A large part of Rosta’s long-term success is the team of highly experienced and knowledgeable professionals who have guided the company all this time.

Now, the Rosta Group hits a new milestone as it welcomes a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to its helm: Urs Stieger.

Wide experience in marketing, management

Urs Stieger brings much enthusiasm, a strong professional background, and an impressive record of accomplishments with him to his new role at Rosta. With a Master’s degree in marketing and business management, Stieger is a sales- and market-oriented CEO with a lot of experience in international markets. His most recent positions involved working with Nestlé LATAM, Silent Gliss Germany, and Zumtobel Group Austria.

At 48 years old, Stieger has amassed many telling qualifications for his new position. He will help the company team write the next chapter of the Rosta success story with top technological solutions, with a focus on creating and achieving new strategic-growth goals. Together, he and the Rosta Group executive team will collaborate closely in pursuing the ongoing development of the “hidden champion” the company represents.

Stieger’s appointment to the CEO position was announced publicly on Feb. 11. Based in the Rosta world headquarters in Hunzenschwil, Switzerland, he will work closely with marketing and sales manager/CSO Phillipe Matter, technical manager and COO Hanspeter Würgler, and management-services director and CFO Hanspeter Fischer. Steiger will also work alongside the company’s international sales department, back office, and marketing crew.
