ODE manufactures many kinds of solenoid valves.

For three decades, Process Instruments and Components Inc. (PIC) has served a wide range of sectors with solutions for work in hazardous locations. One of the manufacturers with which the distributor partners is ODE. Headquartered in Italy and highly reputed for its high-quality industrial solenoid valves for more than 60 years, ODE offers reliable and innovative electric and air-operated solenoid valves that continue to meet the needs of businesses in many Canadian industries.

Timely delivery in many locations

ODE is a member of the Fluid Technology Division of the Defond Group of Companies, a Hong Kong-based group that serves the global automotive industry and other markets with many top corporations, from Ferrari and Volkswagen to Porsche and BMW. PIC offers timely delivery in many Canadian locations, as one of the global network of stocking distributors in the Defond channel.

These valves come in brass, stainless steel, or technopolymer, with different AC and DC voltages and extensive pressure and temperature ranges that are compatible with a broad variety of applications. ODE valves are CRN- and CSA Group-approved and work for tasks from complete redesigns to minor modifications of core products.

The many industries that rely on ODE solenoid valves include chemicals, petrochemicals, oil and gas, food processing, municipal water and wastewater treatment, heating, cooling and refrigeration, pharmaceuticals, power generation, rubber, plastics, mining, pulp and paper, and the automotive sector. ODE also makes specialty solenoid valves for car-wash systems and for vending or coffee machines, all of them with optional NSF certification.

This portfolio is competitively priced and comes with a wide range of AC and DC voltages, while consuming a low level of power – eight watts for the majority of AC and DC coils – and operating in temperatures from -40 to 180 degrees Celsius, depending on the sealing material.

All of ODE’s stainless steel valves are AISI 316 versus AISI 304 for competition, and customers can replace coils without needing to remove the valve bodies. AC and DC coils can also be mixed and matched, depending on the pressure range for the specific application.
