The City of Barrie, Ont. relies on Denso for road repairs

In the early 2000s, Barrie road supervisors began having utility workers use Denso Re-Instatement Tape on the internal perimeters of utility cuts between applying base asphalt and installing top coats. Denso Re-Instatement Tape is a modified polymer bitumen strip designed to compress and rebound, to prevent water from getting into joints between reapplied asphalt and older asphalt, steel, or concrete surfaces.
