Technopolymer valves by ODE offer chemical resistance, withstand heat

ODE makes four series of technopolymer valves.

Suited for myriad applications

This is a unique valve line that is ideally suited for many applications, including coffee- and vending-machine water supply, water and wastewater treatment, juices and drinks, reverse osmosis, exhaust systems for sanitary fittings, refrigerator dispensers, and misting systems at low pressures for washing fruits and vegetables. These technopolymer valves have components with better performance than products constructed from metal, complying with a broad range of strict technical and certification standards.

Among the major advantages of using these units are high chemical resistance, lightweight design, repeatability and precision, top mechanical performance, and ability to withstand extreme heat. To achieve high-temperature resistance, ODE manufactures these technopolymer valves with polyphenylenesulfide (PPS) that is 40 per cent glass-fibre-reinforced. PPS is one of the most important high-temperature thermoplastic polymers, providing high-performance features in terms of heat transfer and chemical/mechanical resistance. These properties resist not only heat, but also acids, alkalies, mildew, bleaches, aging, sunlight, and abrasion.

ODE carries the following models of technopolymer valves:

• AM series. Designed to work with 2/2 NC, 2/2 NO, and 3/2 NC kits. Available seals: FKM (temperature range from minus ten to 140 degrees Celsius) and NBR (minus ten to 90 degrees Celsius).
• AP series. A natural extension to complete the solenoid product range with bigger nominal sizes.
• JM series. Equipped with varying inlet and outlet connections, so users can connect different kinds of tubes. Available in 2/2 NC, 2/2 NO, and 3/2 NC.
• JP series. Distinguished by their extremely compact size, these valves are available with Push-In connections, which allow quick, safe pipe connections with no additional fittings required.
