Rosta Inc. has been manufacturing and supplying world-class technological elements for more than 30 years – solutions perfected by its parent company in Switzerland over three-quarters of a century. While Rosta is respected for its skills in creating these machine components, it also gets a lot of assistance from friendly technology partners.

Compounds AG and Polygena AG join Rosta in a unique group of organizations that team up to create perfect solutions in their home country.

Providing everything Rosta requires

This group consists of several equally sized companies that collaborate as technology partners to keep each other profitable. Polygena is a partner and funding body for many small and medium-sized companies that provide industrial services. It has a role to make sure these organizations remain autonomous and productive, to serve future generations of clients. Rosta partners with Polygena to contribute to a long-term corporate engagement in which the funding body guides companies and their managers on the way to longevity and successful futures.

Having served as a major supplier of rubber elements for Rosta elements for many years, Compounds began an official partnership with Rosta in 2007. These days, Compounds still provides all of the rubber inserts for Rosta components, but in addition, its manufacturing operation works closely with a test laboratory that provides everything that Rosta requires. The laboratory teams and developers of both technology partners work together continuously to ensure that product quality never dips below their high standards. This union of engineering expertise with innovative rubber technology guarantees that customers are always satisfied.

The Compounds rubber-production process consists of two essential steps. The company has a mini-production line called the “Technikum”, which allows employees to test mixtures and prototypes to deem whether they are suitable for production. The next step is the vulcanization of rubber cords, a discontinuous technique that is more intensive, homogeneous, and durable that typical vulcanization is. This process yields rubber components of constant high quality that optimize Rosta elements.
