What distinguishes the tear tab plastic caps from other MOCAP products is their innovative lock function. Inner rings lock the cap onto threads securely, and the user simply pulls an easy grip tear tab to break this seal when the application is finished. All of these caps are made of low-density polyethylene.

MOCAP manufactures four kinds of tear tab plastic caps:

• TSC Series for Straight Threads. Fourteen different sizes, built to fit straight threads from 3/8-24 to 1-7/16-12 in size. Inner diameters range from 9.4 to 36.3 millimetres (mm); inner lengths run from 11.2 to 21.1 mm.
• TCM Series for Metric Threads. Six different sizes, built to fit tubes and fittings with metric threads from M12 to M22 in size. Inner diameters range from 12 to 22 mm; inner lengths run from 12 to 20 mm.
• TCBSP Series for BSP Threads. Seven different sizes, built to fit BSP threads from ¼-19 to 1-11 in size. Inner diameters range from 12.9 to 32.9 mm; inner lengths run from 11 to 25 mm.
• TCNPT Series for NPT Threads. Eleven different sizes, built to fit tubes and fittings with NPT threads from 1/8 to 3 in size. Small and large inner diameters available, ranging from 9.8 to 88.9 mm; inner lengths run from 8.1 to 35.3 mm.

All tear tab plastic caps are available for immediate shipment in boxes containing as many as 5,000, depending on size; Micro-Packs and Mini-Packs are available for clients who need smaller quantities.
