Tear-tab plastic caps by MOCAP come with innovative lock function

MOCAP carries four types of tear-tab plastic caps.

Made out of low-density polyethylene

A key benefit of using these caps is their innovative lock function. Each of them has inner rings that lock it onto threads securely, and after the application is done, the user pulls an easy-grip tear tab to break the seal. All MOCAP tear-tab plastic caps are made out of low-density polyethylene. The company offers the following four models:

• TCBSP series for BSP threads. Seven sizes in this cap series, all designed to fit BSP threads ranging from ¼-19 to 1-11. The inner lengths run from 11 to 25 millimetres (mm), and the inner diameters go from 12.9 to 32.9 mm.
• TCM series for metric threads. Six sizes available in this category, made for tubes and fittings that have metric threads that range from M12 to M22 in size. The inner lengths run from 12 to 20 mm, while the inner diameters go from 12 to 22 mm.
• TCNPT series for NPT threads. Available in 11 sizes, for tubes and fittings with NPT threads from 1/8 to 3 in size. Inner lengths run from 8.1 to 35.3 mm. Small and large inner diameters are available, from 9.8 to 88.9 mm.
• TSC series for straight threads. Available in 14 sizes and made to fit straight threads that measure from 3/8-24 to 1-7/16-12 in size. The inner lengths go from 11.2 to 21.1 mm, and the inner diameters run from 9.4 to 36.3 mm in length.

The MOCAP inventory includes tear-tab plastic caps for immediate shipment in boxes that contain up to 5,000, depending on size. MOCAP also offers Micro-Packs and Mini-Packs for customers who require smaller quantities.
