ANSI pumps are one of Summit's specialties.

John Brooks Company Limited offers an unmatched inventory of industrial pumps for Canadian businesses – all sourced from major manufacturers, such as Summit Pump. The Summit team makes complete ANSI, close-coupled, frame-mounted, and/or process pumps, as well as a broad variety of pump replacement components. With several models of centrifugal models available, Summit has something to meet various industrial needs, in addition to options to keep older pumps working for long operational lifespans.

Designed to meet ANSI requirements

Some of the Summit pump models available are designed to meet the requirements of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), a private nonprofit organization that oversees the development of voluntary consensus standards for products and more, including safety standards. The ANSI designation on a Summit solution ensures high-quality, hazard-free performance every time.

Examples of Summit pumps available from John Brooks Company:

  • 2196 ANSI pump – a general-purpose unit available with a Forever frame. Capacities as high as 6,000 gallons per minute, with heads of up to 730 feet.
  • 2196R ANSI pump – a recessed variation of the previous model that handles fibrous material and lowers material degradation. Also available with a Forever frame.
  • 2196LF ANSI pump – a low-flow version of the 2196, with high-head applications and low NPSHr. Also available with a Forever frame.
  • 2175 heavy-duty process pump – a powerful, versatile pump that works for many different industrial sectors, such as food processing, pulp and paper, steel, and wastewater treatment.
  • 2796 self-priming process pump – a unique model with semi-open non-clogging impeller and a back pullout design that uses an ANSI bearing frame.
  • Clark 3 ANSI pump – a general-purpose option with a reverse-vane closed impeller and reduced shaft deflection.
  • CC FM pump – a close-coupled, frame-mounted unit with interchangeable components. Capacities of up to 2,300 gallons a minute, with heads ranging up to 230 feet.

Summit replacement parts include casings, impellers, stuffing box covers, power ends, rotors, stators, and shaft kits. These components fit pumps by Goulds, Durco, Peerless, Warren, Allis, Chalmers, Moyno, and Worthington too.
