The benefits

Structural adhesives have advantages over nails, screws, welds and other joining methods, as they allow architects, engineers and builders to reliably join dissimilar materials, distribute stress evenly and enhance the fit, finish and appearance of building projects. They are strong and durable, and can bond to many surfaces, including metal, plastics and more. In addition, they are available in a range of easy-to-use packages, from cartridges and syringes to soft-squeeze bottles and dual cartridges, ensuring Henkel has the solution to meet the needs of any hand-held, manual and semi-automated application. Structural adhesives are also offered in five- and 55-gallon pails for high-volume dispensing and automated assembly operations.

The selection

There are many structural adhesive products to choose from, each offering different advantages to different applications. For example, for magnet bonding applications, Henkel offers adhesives that provide a fast, durable bond on ferrite, alnico and neodymium iron boron permanent magnets.

If metal bonding is required, Henkel offers low-cost, high-strength and lightweight adhesives optimized to meet the demands of today’s metal fabricating requirements.
