Standard and customized disc springs from Daemar meet strict quality standards

Daemar offers a complete range of standard disc spring products designed to meet DIN 2093 and 6796, German standards which are considered benchmarks for disc spring quality worldwide. These springs are available in multiple sizes to meet the needs of many applications, and are commonly used with actuators and ball valves, windmills and more. Daemar also offers “non-standard” products to customize the discs to unique applications.

Standard product range

The standard product range of disc springs (sizes to DIN 2093 and factory standards) includes 246 sizes with outside diameters between eight and 250 millimetres. These springs are manufactured from Ck 67 and 50 CrV 4, and are typically available from stock. The standard corrosion protection is zinc phosphating and oiling. Disc springs with a thickness of 0.5 millimetres and greater are shot-peened to improve fatigue life.

Special product range

Daemar can also provide non-standard products for companies whose needs are not met by the standard line. The company has the capability to design disc springs to suit specific applications, using a wide range of materials and various surface coatings, including epoxy coatings, mechanical zinc plating and other special plating requirements.

Stacked springs

Daemar can deliver disc springs pre-assembled in stacks or on a guiding device. When it offers this service, it can also provide stack-specific load-deflection diagrams and 100 per cent load testing to verify proper stacking. Small load tolerances are possible. The advantage of ordering disc spring stacks is that assembly is more efficient.
