EXAIR Corporation is always on the edge when it comes to innovative industrial products. The newest member of the EXAIR family is its Dual 316 Stainless Steel Cabinet Coolers with digital control. These devices offers an inexpensive, reliable way to cool and purge electronic control panels by incorporating a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air with no moving parts. Users can install this cooler in minutes through a standard electrical knockout.

Long life and maintenance-free operation

What distinguishes these units from previous EXAIR cabinet coolers is that they use digital Electronic Temperature Control (ETC) to provide exact temperature control for electrical enclosures that are constantly monitored by quick-response thermocouples. Dual 316 stainless steel coolers resist corrosion while keeping electrical enclosures cool with air at seven degrees Celsius and maintaining the NEMA 4X rating of the enclosure; they also remove heat that could damage internal components.

These stainless steel cabinet coolers are recommended for numerous applications in corrosive locations, including cooling control panels in food processing, pharmaceuticals, foundries, and chemical processing. Type 316 stainless steel offers wear, corrosion, and oxidation resistance to ensure long life and maintenance-free operation in harsh conditions, like food-production, medical, pharmaceutical, and chemical environments. The coolers are available with cooling capacities from 3,400 to 5,600 Btu per hour; the higher capacities are perfect for larger enclosures and heat loads.

Compliant with the UL and CE safety standards, Dual 316 Stainless Steel Cabinet Coolers are the latest products to join EXAIR’s complete line of NEMA 12, 4, and 4X cabinet-cooler systems, which run from 275 to 5,600 Btu per hour. They are available from stock in aluminum and 303 or 316 stainless steel. EXAIR also manufactures Hazardous Location Cabinet Coolers, also approved by UL, for classified areas that require cooling. This wide-ranging line includes non-hazardous purge models, high-temperature models, continuous-operation models, and thermostat-controlled models.
