industrial tensioning accessories

Rosta carries several kinds of tensioning accessories.

Rosta Inc. is the Canadian affiliate of Rosta, an international manufacturing force known for its mastery of three kinds of technology – rubber-suspension, oscillating-conveyor, and tensioning technology. The third category is the advantage of Rosta’s innovative lines of tensioner devices and motor bases. The company also makes industrial tensioning accessories, designed to keep tensioning units functioning. Examples include sprockets, chain riders, and rollers. Whatever design of belt drive or chain a business may be using, Rosta can supply the appropriate roller or sprocket.

A variety of units available

Complementary industrial tensioning accessories are available for any application, even for users that plan to use chain riders. This can include a mounting bracket as a flexible, practical way to fix and implement Rosta tensioners in construction tasks, as one example. Do-it-yourself is never necessary, and there are tensioning accessories available to support any critical component from the company.

Among the industrial tensioning accessories available from Rosta:

  • Chain rider set, Type P – Low-cost, low-noise alternative for tensioning chain drives, assembled on the tensioning element. Built from fiction-resistant industrial plastic, the high-quality rider enables use on both rider sides. Highest permissible chain speed: 1.5 metres per second.
  • Sprocket wheel set, Type N – For completing the tensioning elements in chain-drive applications. Every sprocket wheel runs on a self-lubricating ball bearing 2Z.X3. Simplex, duplex, and triplex sets available in numerous sizes; wheels contain 11, 13, or 15 teeth, and weight ranges from 60 grams (g) to 1.93 kilograms (kg).
  • Tensioning roller, Type R – Constructed out of high-quality industrial plastic material, with two self-lubricating ball bearings 2Z.C3. Rosta carries five sizes, with maximum speeds from 4,500 to 8,000 revolutions per minute (RPM), maximum belt widths from 30 to 130, and weight from 80 g to 1¾ kg.
  • Tensioning roller, Type RL – Much like Type R, but built for light-duty drives. Three sizes are available, with maximum speeds from 4,500 to 8,000 RPM, maximum belt widths from 30 to 55, and weight from 80 to 500 g.

Other sprocket wheels and chain rider are available for different user needs.
