The Parker 12AT/50AT series

Parker industrial solutions are available in Canada from Wainbee Limited, such as the 12AT/50AT series of low-pressure spin-on filters. These rebranded products are cost-efficient, but uncompromising in performance and quality, with reliable operation in a lightweight, compact package. They are recommended for mobile equipment, hydrostatic drives, industrial power units, and reservoir breathers.

Designed to fit challenging design parameters in modern mobile and industrial equipment, these spin-on filters by Parker are ideal for businesses with tight economic conditions.

Protection of critical system components

Esteemed as a leader in product quality, Parker applies the most up-to-date design and manufacturing techniques to the 12AT/50AT series. These filters protect critical system components in various low-pressure applications. On top of increased flow rates, the Parker team has expanded the product family to include new filter-head configurations and flanged porting, as well as consistency in filter-element condition options. Depending on viscosity, the series offers a maximum allowable operating pressure of 150 pounds per square inch (psi) and is capable of flows as high as 190 litres per minute (50 gallons per minute).

Businesses can use spin-on filters in suction and return line filter applications with pressures up to 150 psi. The primary objectives in the design of the 12AT/50AT series are improving system liquid cleanliness, offering better start performance, and meeting service interval expectations. Parker filters from Wainbee use several kinds of filtration media to meet the demanding needs of common applications: cellulose media, made of twisted natural fibres; synthetic media, with artificial, uniform glass fibres; and Par-Gel media, a highly absorbent copolymer laminate.

Main features of these filters:

  • Mounting. Two- or six-hole pattern, for flexibility.
  • Ports. Both NPT and SAE straight thread connections available.
  • Colour-indicating gauges/switches. For identifying element conditions during operation.
  • Disposable canister. For containing oil inside, with no mess. Easy to handle. Single and double-length filters for extended life.
  • Interchangeability. Parker canisters fit the heads of units from many competitors.

More than 300 models of these spin-on filters are available, all with Nitrile seals. Filter heads are made of aluminum, while the canisters are made of low carbon steel.
