Motor options

The selection of motors available with AMT electric-driven pumps include those capable of: hazardous duty explosion proof, washdown duty, 575 volt, 1725 RPM, and more. The company stocks motors from one to 10 horsepower, in single- and three-phase models, though custom options are also available. Turnaround time depends on motor availability.

In addition, the line of Gorman-Rupp self-priming centrifugal pumps, with cast iron construction, are coupled to a hazardous duty explosion proof motor. These pumps are designed for use in hazardous environments and for handling flammable liquids. Models are self-priming and available with single- or three-phase motors, as well as Viton seals, which are capable of handling liquids with temperatures as high as 71 degrees C (160 degrees F).
