MINCO also makes a unique, spring-loaded holder to ensure proper probe contact in thermowells or blocks.

Examples of MINCO temperature sensor assemblies available from Mod-Tronic include the following:

• Tip-sensitive, spring-loaded RTDs. Quick, accurate readings from bearings, blocks, and other solids. Sensing probe has a copper alloy tip for fast response to temperature changes.
• Tip-sensitive, isolated-tip, spring-loaded RTDs. Fast, accurate readings of electrically “hot” bearings with an electrically isolated, copper alloy, tip-sensitive probe.
• Tip-sensitive, direct-immersion RTDs. For non-corrosive liquids only. Quick response when mounted directly in fluid flow.
• Fluid-immersion temperature sensors. With stainless steel thermowells for direct insertion in fluid streams. Users can remove the sensing probe without breaking the fluid seal.
• Tip-sensitive RTDs with thermowells. Sensors are protected by thermowells from the effects of liquid flow and pressure. Spring-loaded for positive probe contact against the thermowell’s bottom.
• Eurostyle sensors. Low-priced assemblies with thermowells, spring-loaded probes, and connection heads. Fast response and accurate sensing in liquid or air streams.
• High-temperature RTDs with thermowells. Temperature sensing in high-pressure liquids and gases, up to 550 degrees Celsius.
• Sanitary RTD probes. Quick response when installed directly into process lines. Stainless steel cases devoid of cracks or crevices that could shelter bacteria.
