John Brooks Company carries six types of Gorman-Rupp self-priming pumps.

Gorman-Rupp industrial pumping solutions are available in Canada (excluding the Maritimes) through John Brooks Company Limited. Among the products available are six series of self-priming centrifugal pumps, which are easy for users to install and service. Customers need only common hand tools to conduct fast and easy service or maintenance on these units.

The self-priming design of these pumps allows users to mount them high and dry at floor level, with only the suction line down in the liquid.

Highly efficient and serviceable pumps

These centrifugal pumps have no long drive shafts to install and align, and it is never necessary for service personnel to enter the sump. Gorman-Rupp factory tests these units to ensure they always offer long-lasting, trouble-free service. These self-priming pumps have proven themselves to be the most efficient and serviceable pumps on the market today. John Brooks Company supplies the following models:

  • Ultra V series. The next generation of solids-handling, self-priming centrifugal pumps with significantly higher pressures, flows, efficiencies, and time-saving maintenance features. Up to 60 percent higher pressure and 40 percent higher flow over standard self-priming trash pumps of the same size.
  • UltraMate. Increases maximum pressure up to 300 percent over standard solids-handling self-priming single-stage pumps when mounted directly to the Ultra V through an innovative transition chamber.
  • Super T series. For solids and corrosive fluids. Designed for economical, trouble-free operation and recommended most for applications that involve solids-laden liquids and slurries.
  • Super U series. Among the most efficient self-priming, solids-handling pumps available – and offers such features as external shim-less adjustment, dual protection of bearings, and an easy-grip cover plate handle.
  • 10 series. Specifically built to handle solids, corrosive fluids, and slurries. Minimal maintenance due to the few moving parts and comes with a variety of seal configurations.
  • 80 series. High-efficiency pumps designed for nonstop workloads. The straight-in-suction design guarantees fast, positive self-priming and enable operation at high suction levels.
