The Dryslide Bushings trademark, available from Daemar, represents a broad range of self-lubricated dry sliding bushings and bearings. These units are available in different sizes and materials to meet the needs of a wide range of applications.

The TH Series

TH Series bushings have a composite structure consisting of a carbon steel backing, an intermediate layer of sintered bronze and a PTFE-based sliding lining. Available in inch and metric sizes, this family includes a range of wrapped and flanged cylindrical bushings, thrust washers, strips and special parts made to customer specifications.

The high load capacity and self-lubricating capability make the TH Series ideal for dry running applications. In addition, these units have high chemical resistance, low water absorption and swelling, good wear properties and a low coefficient of friction that will extend the life of the application. It can be used in both rotary and oscillating applications, and will also perform well with lubrication.

These bushings are ideal for use in automotive applications, such as power steering cylinders, steering gear thrust washers, disc brakes, callipers and pistons in tractors, combines, crop sprayers, earthmovers and road graders. They are also suitable for use in photocopy machines, mail sorters, postage meter systems, computer printers, hydraulic pumps, refrigerators, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, pallet trucks, scissor lifts and much more.

The THX Series

THX Series bushings have a composite structure consisting of a carbon steel backing onto which a porous layer of bronze is sintered and then impregnated with a co-acetal plastic. The polymeric surface has indentations in which the lubricating grease lies and protects the mating surface. Available in inch sizes, the THX range features cylindrical bushings, thrust washers, strips and special parts made to customer specifications.

These units are especially well suited for applications where lubricant cannot be supplied continuously or repeatedly, as well as those involving intermittent operation or boundary lubrication. Ideal applications include agricultural equipment and automotive applications, such as automobile driving joint hinges, suspension joints, kingpin assemblies, steering and other linkages. They are also suitable for use in such machine tools as spindles in drill, grinding and milling machines, and ram guide plates in multi-ram presses.
