Supports many modern signals

Standardized by PICMG, the Schroff modular carrier board for COM Express Type 6 modules supports such modern signals as HDMI, Gbit Ethernet, USB 2.0 and 3.0, and PCI Express. All of its features are delivered according to client specifications.

Users can adjust the height, width, and depth of the board’s small case, as well as the interfaces and the integration level, depending on their needs. The carrier board includes slots for various expansion boards, an efficient low-interference power supply, a flexible cooling design for forced air cooling or passive cooling, and an enclosure with IP protection of up to IP 55 (up to IP 67 is also an option).

This carrier board comes with a number of other unique benefits. Its modular design enables the addition of extra modules, like fieldbus, Mini PCI Express, PMC, or XMC. Its customized system design allows users to tailor the board to requirements specific to the application, and it is also available for delivery that can be integrated, tested, verified, and certified upon request.

Carrier board interfaces include fan, power, and status signal connectors, as well as optional cable adapters for RS-232 interfaces and LPT and PS/2 connectors. Other possible expansion boards include postcode/prototype modules for debugging hardware and software.
