Wainbee carries the HAUG.Sirius line.

Wainbee Limited carries HAUG piston compressors by Sauer Compressors Group. These units are all 100 per cent oil-free, absolutely dry-running, and hermetically gas-tight. HAUG recommends these compressors for applications that require properties like process purity, process safety, environmental protection, durability, and availability for the highest quality and reliability.

The HAUG.Sirius line is dependable up to 500 bar for any applications, and several variations are available for different scenarios.

Compression of various gases

The HAUG.Sirius series offers power ranging from 7½ to 30 kilowatts, adjustable suction pressure of up to 16 barg, and final pressure of up to 100 barg. The rate of gas flow ranges from 400 to 1,000 normal cubic metres per hour, and each unit is gas-tight with magnetic coupling. Like other HAUG compressors from Wainbee, they are used commonly in the Medicine, Power Distribution, Chemical, Energy, Food, Gold Mining, and Gas sectors.

HAUG.Sirius compressors come in one-, two-, three-, and four-stage versions. The one-stage model is recommended for high delivery rates, with pressure ratio depending on the gas compressed and ranging from 3:1 to 8:1, while maximum final pressure is about 60 barg. The two-stage version allows pressure ratios from 9:1 to 30:1 depending on gas compressed; the compression arrangement with inter-cooling boosts efficiency and reduces compression temperatures. The three- and four-stage models are used especially for storage of Natural Gas, Helium, Hydrogen, or Air, and they enable pressure ratios from 27:1 to 90:1, depending on the gas compressed.

Different models also compress different kinds of gas. HAUG.Sirius Oil-free oxygen compressors are used as boosters for onsite gas-production plants. These units generate oxygen with PSA, VPSA, or membrane systems. Oxygen compatibility is ensured with high-quality materials and fully oil-free compression. Another version compresses Nitrogen and clean dry air and is used as a booster for an onsite gas-production plant or for pressure increase from an existing pressurized nitrogen network.

HAUG also makes a model that compresses natural gas and biomethane, used to feed natural-gas networks or increase the pressure between to natural-gas network lines, as well as one for oil-free recovery and compression of SF6 gas.
