The Signature Series family by Sandpiper

Renowned internationally for the high quality of its air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps, Sandpiper makes its products available from stock to Canadian businesses via York Fluid Controls Ltd. The Signature Series, for instance, is a family of AODD pump solutions that consists of three different models of innovative, high-performance industrial units. Sandpiper has engineered the Signature Series to deliver unsurpassed durability and performance, even in extremely demanding work environments and applications.

For continuous or intermittent duty

The Sandpiper Signature Series can support a broad range of pumping tasks; all three of these models are constructed to handle water, suspended solids, high-viscosity fluids, and corrosive liquids. In addition, all of them are compatible with both continuous and intermittent duty and with varying kinds of installation.

The Signature heavy-duty flap valve pump has a construction with a large flow area, and it allows solids up to line size to pass directly through the unit. The bottom discharge porting of this pump allows solids to pass through, rather than settle inside the chamber. This feature eliminates premature damage and wear. Among the other major advantages of this industrial valve pump are minimal maintenance and a dry prime suction life of up to 24 feet in water.

Designed for liquids containing settling, suspended, or floating solids, Signature’s heavy-duty ball valve pumps have down-, top-, or side-ported options, the first two for containing solids and the other for application in confined spaces. Another benefit is the weighted check valve balls, each of which has a metallic core that is 30-to-60 per cent heavier than a solid rubber check ball is. This helps to improve performance with viscous liquids. Other advantages of these pumps from York Fluid Controls include diaphragm wear pads and heavy-duty actuator plungers.

Finally, Sandpiper offers the Signature family of containment-duty valve pumps – which is the only full line of AODD pumps with superior containment of hazardous liquids, thereby protecting employees, the environment, and the pumps themselves. One feature is visual leak detection, which alerts users to any diaphragm breaches before any system fluids can escape.
