Sames an industry leader in innovative spraying technology

Sames has a deep history of innovation that spans over the last 65-plus years. The company was created in 1947 to manufacture and market the electrostatic generators developed at the French National Center for Scientific Research, and through the years has supplied several nuclear physics centres around the world, as well as a growing list of industrial companies.

The company’s continuous high voltage electrostatic generators are known internationally for their exceptional levels of performance, quality and safety, which is why electrostatic spraying for the industrial sector gradually became the focus of Sames.

Today, the company offers a complete line of innovative automatic, robotic and manual solutions for spraying, including electrostatic guns and electrostatic bells. 

The Sames InoBell Powder Bell Applicator, for example, is a high transfer efficiency applicator designed to help companies improve paint savings. It applies powder paint on all types of surfaces, enabling a high-performance, high-quality finish with powder savings of 15 to 20 per cent over an automatic gun thanks to the company's high transfer efficiency process. Also known as Hi-TE, the high transfer efficiency technology in the InoBell and many of Sames' other products is comprised of an air shroud that enables variable patterns when spraying. The result is improved transfer efficiency and a perfect colour match. 

Another innovation, the Nanobell, is a compact, lightweight and sturdy sprayer dedicated to light payload robots. Weighing just 3.3 kg, the Nanobell can spray solvent paints, water-borne paints, mono or multi-components paints, and significantly increase customer paint savings, while improving the quality of their production. Like the Inobell, it features Hi-TE spraying technology.
