Medium or coarse grit

Recommended particularly for stairs, landings, platforms, ramps, and wash-down areas, SafeStep solutions provide an immediate return to service after installation. The line is available from Rust-Oleum in medium or coarse grit and in a broad variety of sizes. Among the benefits: high slip resistance, even when wet; easy installation with glue and screws; chemical and corrosion resistance; and suitability for steps and areas with extreme foot traffic. The manufacturer can trim steps, covers, and edges to fit specific sizes; using a high-quality diamond concrete blade is recommended for trimming. Customers can apply these products to different substrates like wood, steel plates, concrete, and open mesh. SafeStep is available in three forms:

• SafeStep step covers. Heavy-duty, preformed anti-slip covers, ideal for damaged, worn, or slippery steps. Available in coarse and medium-grit textures in 10 sizes (width and depth) and in black or yellow. Highly durable and chemical/corrosion-resistant.
• SafeStep step edges. Heavy-duty, preformed solutions for worn or hazardous steps. Similar to step covers, but for the edge. Extremely durable, whether used inside or outside, and all yellow in colour, with seven different sizes. Also very durable and chemical/corrosion-resistant.
• SafeStep anti-slip sheeting. These heavy-duty anti-slip sheets offer a protective cover for damaged, worn, or slippery floors. As the SafeStep edges and covers do, these sheets have high chemical resistance and are virtually indestructible. SafeStep anti-slip sheets are available in two sizes – 119 by 119 centimetres in black or yellow, or 119 by 244 centimetres in black, yellow, or grey.
