The QuantumX data acquisition system (DAQ) from HBM is a high performance system designed to reliably meet every test and measurement need in a wide range of applications. Available from Durham Instruments, the multi-functional tool is capable of acquiring signals and data from different measurement quantities and sensor technologies.

Meet the family

The QuantumX DAQ family of products includes a lineup of amplifiers, modules, gateways and transmitters, which enable the reliable and simultaneous measurement of a wide range of quantities using a single device. 

• Universal DAQ amplifiers are the ideal choice for those applications that frequently require varying measurement tasks. 
• DAQ modules feature universal connectors suited for all common sensor technologies, regardless of the principles of measurement used and how they’re combined. 
• Gateways and transmitters are available for those applications that require a connection to a CAN network, or that require a transmitter to convert measured values into analog signals.

Ideal applications

QuantumX is designed to adapt to the unique requirements of a wide range of applications, whether it’s mobile or stationary load analysis, measurements on a test specimen in the laboratory or test bench, or mobile road and field tests. 

The system is particularly suited for mobile applications thanks to its modular design. It features universal inputs with maximum interference suppression for the acquisition of strain, force, displacement, acceleration, rotational speed, pressure, temperature, voltage and current. In addition, it offers synchronous signal acquisition of analog and digital inputs and bus signals. A connection to a PC or standalone data recorder is also possible. 

For stationary applications, the system offers universal inputs with 24-bit resolution and sample rates of up to 100 kS/s; real-time capability; and easy integration.

The small and rugged device is also suitable for challenging environments, as it can handle vibration (up to 5 g), shock (up to 35 g), and temperatures from -20 to 65 degrees C.
