Rotem to launch full online ordering, same-day shipping, in December

Starting on Dec. 1, Rotem will have full online ordering and same-day shipping for Ontario customers.

Rotem Industrial Products has been satisfying industrial clients with its range of metalworking solutions for more than half a century – and now, the distributor is about to upgrade the convenience of its customer service. Starting on Dec. 1, 2018, Rotem will have full online ordering, as well as same-day shipping, for Ontario customers for all orders received before noon.

This new service upgrade is the result of Rotem’s new partnership with Berkshire Hathaway, formerly known as PTS Canada. This will increase Rotem’s inventory significantly, as the supplier adds a large selection of North American brand names and more than one million products to its already impressive portfolio of metalworking solutions.

Access to the entire warehouse

This new program promises a lot of time and money savings for Rotem customers, who will no longer need to phone to check for stock, pricing, or ordering. Businesses will merely need to log onto the Rotem website with their unique passwords, which gives them access to the distributor’s entire warehouse. The online order system will enable companies to check stock availability, see prices, and place orders instantly – with no need for multiple purchase orders from different manufacturers. Users can even get customer-specific discounts through their Rotem accounts.

Rotem customers will have the ability to build their own shopping carts of products, as well as streamline their individual buying processes and easily track their individual purchasing histories. Other benefits of using this new program will include special pricing on many quality brand names, free shipping for orders priced more than $400 (machinery not included), and frequent promotional discounts.

This new buying power will enable Rotem to pass big savings on to its clients, who will now be able to buy an even wider range of metalworking solutions.
