Rubber-spring elements, a signature Rosta product

Rosta Inc. has been keeping Canadian industry moving for more than 35 years, with its unmatched knowledge of three types of technology: rubber-suspension, oscillating-conveyor, and tensioning technologies. The manufacturer offers many great products, including rubber-spring elements, on which customers rely in many applications for their tough construction and versatility. Known for their distinct blue colour, these Rosta elements can fulfill a wide range of different functions in only one unit.

For pushing, pulling, or tensioning

These components are suitable for myriad applications that require resilient suspensions, elastic supports, cushioning mounts, smooth guidance, and other such traits. Unique among Rosta’s solutions, rubber-spring elements are available in a broad variety of torques and sizes, and each has an operating angle of plus or minus 30 degrees. Customers can use these elements as torsional springs, pivot bearings, or anti-vibration mounts, and they are also ideal for pushing, pulling, and tensioning in machinery.

As jointed springs, Rosta elements each have four pre-tensioned special rubber bodies between housings and an inner square profile offset by 45 degrees. These components do not have any metallic contact or friction locations, and the inertia of the natural rubber provides energy damping during turning movements because of the flexing friction of the rubber bodies.

Businesses can realize substantial savings via the durable construction and the innovative design of these rubber-spring elements. Due to their various multiple functions, expensive bearing and damping elements are nor required. In addition, the quiet, maintenance-free function reduces operational costs with longer service intervals. Among the other major benefits of depending on Rosta components: faster assembly; fewer stocking items; higher productivity in manufacturing operations; higher reliability; and longer operational life.

These rubber-spring elements are featured in the manufacturer’s free oscillating systems, guided shaker systems, gyratory sifters, tensioner devices, motor bases, anti-vibration mounts, and other solutions. Companies in various sectors count on them; examples include agriculture, mining, food processing, and transportation. Rosta works closely with customers to ensure every solution lives up to all their individual requirements.

Businesses around the globe always count on Rosta for top versatility in machine components.
