Since 1988, the Canadian division of Rosta has been a major solution provider for rubber-based technology for industry across the country. Rosta Inc. is composed of three main divisions, each one devoted to a separate technology type. The company has mastered these three areas:

1) Rubber suspension technology
Rosta provides a wide variety of standard rubber suspension elements for anti-vibration mounts and elastic torsion mounts. Companies in a range of sectors use them for springing, damping, and supporting. Each of these multifunctional modules serves as a torsional spring, a pivot bearing, and an anti-vibration mount all in one. Features include:

• pendulum suspensions for unbalanced motors;
• torque supports for gear motors;
• energy-absorbing impact suspensions; and
• torsional springs for continuous surface pressure.

2) Oscillating conveyor technology
Rosta’s core business is oscillating mountings for vibrating-conveyor manufacturers, whether they produce free oscillating conveyors, guided shaker conveyors, or gyratory sifters. Suspension systems for free oscillating vibrating systems have the highest levels of isolation and efficiency. Product options also available for:

• circular motion screens;
• linear motion screens; and
• discharge chutes.

3) Tensioning technology
Rosta also designs and produces machine components for maintenance-free tensioning of belts and chain drives. Variations include self-adjusting motor base suspension for initial tensioning of large belt drives and easily installed chain and belt tensioners for efficient secondary tensioning. Machine designers who use Rosta tensioning products do not have to worry about compensation of lengthening due to age or belt slip. Benefits of tensioner devices include:
