Tensioning technology

Insufficiently tensioned belt drives make poor use of available energy with friction loss. Loose chain drives, in fact, cause bearings, sprockets and drive chains to prematurely wear, and also cause noise emissions. To guarantee permanently tensioned belt and chain drives, Rosta developed its self-adjusting rubber suspensions for both the elastic drive motor suspensions, as well as flexible chain and belt tensioners. Thanks to these ingenious and maintenance-free tensioning systems, customer chain and belt drives work in an energy-efficient, quiet and virtually wear-free manner. 

Oscillating conveyor and rubber suspension technology

Vibration processing using high-frequency vibrations has become essential in material processing for many industries. Using a vibration-separation technique plays an important role in cost-effective processing, and Rosta’s suspension components can help efficiently manage and control circular, linear or horizontal oscillations. Rubber suspension units that are almost completely wear and maintenance-free are designed to silently and dynamically guide screens, gyratory-sifters and shaker-conveyors.

Environmental applications
