Get the right plugs and jacks for your thermocouple connections

Some of the accessories available include plugs and jacks to suit a variety of requirements. Thermo-Kinetics’ range of plugs and jacks includes mini and full size types, with two or three poles and various body designs.

Mini plugs and jacks

Two-pole mini plugs and jacks offer simple and reliable connections for fine thermocouple wires and sheaths. They are practically impossible to mismate thanks to their polarized pins. To provide a tight grip and minimize signal loss, they have large double wipe jack inserts. Another feature is the isolated screw design that ensures the only contact from wire entrance to exit is thermocouple alloy.

Three-pole mini connectors offer unparalleled functionality. They were designed specifically in response to user requirements to provide reliable connections for small diameter metal-sheathed sensors and extension wires.

Full-size connectors

Two-pole Jab-In connectors eliminate the need for terminal caps and fasteners. These connectors are moulded in one piece, so there are no loose parts to worry about. Wires can be simply jabbed into the connector's two moulded-in channels, providing an easy and dependable hook-up.

Two-pole and two-pole hex body plugs and jacks are built to tight tolerances to offer fast and reliable connections. The prongs and inserts are made from alloys that match ANSI calibrations to ensure accuracy. Symbols are moulded into the body of these connectors to identify alloy and polarity.

Three-pole and three-pole hex body connectors can provide reliable connections for thermocouples and extension wires with ground wires integrated into the system. These connectors are also well suited to applications with three-wire RTDs.
