For manual and automated applications

These pipe stands serve as a highly effective solutions for supporting pipes during welding tasks, in both manual and automated applications, when blended with the company’s positioners and turning rolls. They also have polyurethane rollers that users can adjust, depending on the pipe diameter.

The stands break new ground in that Red-D-Arc has tested and approved them according to the stringent standards of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) in the United States and Conformité Européenne (CE) in Europe. Red-D-Arc makes sure all its weld-automation products have their weight capacity UL-verified and certified to ensure their safety and quality. This high standard is previously unmatched in the weld-automation industry.

Among the features of these pipe stands are adjustable height and availability in either two- or four-ton weight capacity. They are built to support pipes ranging from two to 48 inches in diameter, and customers usually use them along with Red-D-Arc positioners or turning rolls. Extra options include stationary self-levelling feet, traversing rail mount bogie wheels, and swivel castor kits with brakes.

The two models of stands:

• AHPS4-36LP. Low profile. Height range from 60 to 90 centimetres (cm). Weighs 62½ kilograms (kg). Measures 765 by 795 by 635 millimetres (mm).
• AHPS4-63HP. High profile. Height range from 965 mm to 1.6 metres. Weighs 75 kilograms. Measures 865 by 795 by 990 mm.

Each of these two designs has five pipe-diameter settings. Red-D-Arc offers a three-year warranty for both of these units. The maximum load capacity is 1,800 kg, making them suitable for most tasks.
