Paint booths in industrial environments need periodic cleaning, so that they can maintain both productivity and quality. Companies typically set cleaning intervals for paint booths of between six months and a year, and they tend to use such time-consuming cleaning methods as wire brushing and scraping by hand. This is a unique turnkey solution that consists of machines for dry ice blasting, dry ice, high-pressure air if needed, synthetic coatings to limit future paint adhesion on the booth’s interior, and onsite operational and safety training for workers. Red-D-Arc employs teams of Blast Cleaning Specialists that can support plant maintenance teams as they learn how to leverage dry-ice-blasting technology themselves instead of paying specialized service contractors. This way, customers save money significantly.

Six models of Cold Jet dry ice blasting machines are available for rental, lease, or purchase from Red-D-Arc. Each product is equipped with a different dry-ice capacity and hose length. Dry ice blasting offers numerous benefits – leaving no residue, for example. As a result, many businesses use this technique for a diverse array of applications, such as mold remediation, cleaning of food-processing equipment, maintenance of industrial machinery, manufacture of medical equipment, and weld-line cleaning.

The lineup includes four Aero models, with hopper sizes of 18 or 36 kilograms and varying blast pressure ranges. Red-D-Arc also offers an i³ MicroClean blaster and an After Cooler that works with portable diesel compressors.
