Assessment

Rapid Gear begins the process by assessing its customer’s needs. Customers are encouraged to fill out a request for quotation form on the company’s website, so that Rapid Gear can gain a complete understanding of their unique needs. This detailed form requests specific information about gear, material, keyway and heat treating requirements, as well as dimensions and quantity requirements. Here, customers are also given the opportunity to upload related drawings, pictures and documents to help Rapid Gear determine their needs.

Engineering

From design to reverse engineering, Rapid Gear has the capability to help the customer find the best solution.

Machining

Rapid Gear operates out of 40,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. Within this facility is a fully equipped machine shop with advanced machinery and highly experienced operators committed to ensuring the highest quality control from receipt of the order to its delivery. The company’s full-service machining department supports its gear-cutting operations, working with material supplied by the customer or ordered specifically to meet customer requirements.

Delivery

Lastly, Rapid Gear takes great care to ensure customers get the products they need on time. Whether it’s overseas or around the corner, the company carefully packages and ships the products to the customer’s exact specifications.
