Endress+Hauser Canada Ltd. is now the Canadian supplier for the Kaiser Optical Systems portfolio of Raman spectrographic instruments, including the manufacturer’s new next-level, embedded Raman analyzers. This line features intuitive Raman RunTime control software for full-time connection to critical information. Kaiser has been part of Endress+Hauser for eight years, but until now, customers had to work with the Kaiser’s American affiliate to get Raman Rxn devices. Now, these products are available in Canada.

Raman spectrographic analysis is useful for many common industrial applications, like assessing material quality, monitoring molecular reactions, aiding basic science research, assuring product quality, and identifying unknowns. Unlike older systems, these embedded Raman analyzers eliminate the need to run proprietary software with a separate, standalone computer to convert raw measurement into usable data. Embedding the spectrometer functions into the analyzer electronics boosts productivity by providing a common, user-friendly interface for processing development and manufacturing in the laboratory.
The Raman Rxn group includes the Raman Rxn2 and Rxn4 base models, which integrate analyzer and control software in a fixed-purpose device with built-in intelligence. These Raman analyzers collect in situ process measurements to enable real-time process monitoring, optimization, and control. Full-time automation allows users to maintain a continuous pulse on the safety, quality, and efficiency of operations.
Raman RunTime software offers constant real-time access to process data through a touchscreen interface or remote access, conveying either raw or processed info and diagnostics over standard communication protocols to ensure data integrity and compatibility with third-party devices. These Kaiser devices from Endress+Hauser conduct self-monitoring and self-diagnostics to assure measurement validity, as well as self-calibration. Multiple installation options are available.
