RAF electronic hardware is available from Gould Fasteners

Gould Fasteners can supply a wide range of electronic hardware components from RAF. This manufacturer supplies such products as thumbscrews, swage standoffs, hex jackscrews and more. They are all available in a variety of materials, finishes, sizes and styles.

Product selection

Captive panel screws are available in five different styles. In addition, RAF can supply seven types of swaged retainers. They can be made from brass, steel or stainless steel, and more than 30 different metallic finishes. These fasteners offer easy and secure assembly for equipment panels where the mounting hardware is subject to loss. Besides the standard models, these fasteners are available in special types, including slotted, unslotted and hex heads.

Spacers can be supplied in round or hexagon profiles. They are used for PCB mounting and other applications where close control of dimensions is required. They can be made from aluminum, brass, steel, nylon, phenolic and stainless steel, with more than 40 options for metallic finishes. The lengths range from 3/32 up to two inches, and diameters range from 1/8 to 3/4 inch.

Standard design hex jackscrews are available that are typically used to secure D-type cable connectors. They are made from steel with zinc plating to ASTM-B-633 (yellow chromate) finish. Each jackscrew is supplied with two flat washers, one lock washer and a nut.
