The Parker Racor FC-20-1-120V heavy-duty fuel-polishing cart

Parker manufactures many innovative fuel and oil solutions through its Racor brand, and these products are available in Canada from Wainbee Limited. Among them is the Racor FC-20-1-120V heavy-duty fuel-polishing cart, which is a cost-efficient means of filtering diesel, jet fuels, biodiesel mixtures, and other petroleum hydrocarbon liquids in transport or storage.

This innovative unit by Parker Racor processes fuel at an incredible 76 litres per minute, with one-inch cam-lock fittings for simple connections.

For preventative maintenance or servicing

The Racor fuel-polishing cart is designed to polish, clean up, and recycle old or contaminated fuel, and customers can also use it in preventative-maintenance practices to keep fuel tanks clean or as a servicing unit to clean up fuel tanks that have become contaminated by rain, sea water, dirt, rust, or microbial growth.

This solution has an all-aluminum construction that keeps it light, making it ideal for mobility purposes, and is also durable and corrosion-resistant for many years of operation. The FC-20-1-120V fuel-polishing cart comes with a Racor FBO-14-DPL fuel filter, which does not need any tools for filter change-out and provides many filter-replacement options for any task.

Other key features of this unique high-flow fuel-filtration option from Wainbee:

  • easy operation;
  • versatility and portability;
  • large back wheels with locking front casters;
  • ability to service hoses and probes via cam-lock connections;
  • Viton seals and gaskets;
  • differential pressure displayed on filter for element change-out;
  • site glass and drain valve, to detect and remove water;
  • bypass valve for filter-element change-out while in operation or for liquid transfer only;
  • dirt-removal, water-coalescing, and water-absorption filtration; and
  • drip pans to capture dripping liquids and prevent environmental problems.

Available FBO replacement filters include water-separating, water-absorbing, and silicone-treated fuel filters. Water-separating units, which are the most popular option, remove water and contaminants from hydrocarbon fuel streams, while water-absorbing filters filter out contaminants from diesel fuel and other hydrocarbon streams. Silicone-treated fuel filters remove particle contaminants down to one micron, and they can also be used upstream (before a fuel filter or water separator) to prolong filter life.
