Q-Pumps has designed the QIS series with a high level of efficiency, hygiene, and energy savings. Each model has an internal seal, both single and double, along with a back cover, semi-open impeller, and volute casing. This design complies with the strict 3A and EHEDG standards, and it has the same footprint of a standard Q-Pumps QC+ pump. These units are fully drainable, and they have a viscosity of up to 800 centipoise.

A key advantage of using these internal seal pumps is that each has a unique electro-polished surface. This reduces the surface’s roughness and improves its finish. Due to its optimum hygienic conditions that prevent the forming of bacteria deposits, the electro-polishing process is an absolute must in the food-processing, medical, and pharmaceutical industries.

The hygienic surface of the QIS series of internal seal pumps not only prevents bacteria, but also creates a clean, smooth surface that is easier for users to sterilize.
