The Bebco 6500 industrial purge system is an innovative automatic system with all the necessary features for safe, reliable protection in a small, streamlined solution. This year, the device received SIL 2 certification, enhancing its reliability even further.

Engineered for simple, functional safety operation, the 6500 Series industrial purge system has these advantages:

• Dual rating. The 6500 system is dual-rated for Zone and Division locations, which makes it perfect for areas that require Zone-rated protection methods only.
• Enhanced communication. This unit has a communication port that is compatible with HART RS485, as well as Bluetooth for remote interfacing and monitoring of purging activities. As a result, it integrates well with remote and virtualized systems. It also has a free, dedicated monitoring and control app for Apple, Android, and Blackberry devices.
• Full automation. The Bebco 6500 is a fully automatic device that purges a common enclosure of hazardous gas or dust to maintain positive pressure, with automatic monitoring and control of enclosure pressure and temperature with dilution and continuous flow functionality.
• Additional certification. In addition to SIL 2, the 6500 Series carries ATEX/IECEx certification for gas and dust and can operate on enclosure sizes of up to 12.7 cubic metres. The system reduces the classification within the protected enclosure from Zone 1/21 to a non-hazardous area.

In addition, the 6500 Series is built out of 316L stainless steel and features menu-driven programming. It is the perfect all-in-one solution for Zone 1/21 applications.
