Barriers are a necessary addition in industrial environments, protecting people, products and facilities from harm or damage. They should be a must for any company that uses forklifts or other mobile equipment around product or people.

Protective barriers from Canadian Portable Structures (CPS) are designed to provide a physical and visual barrier between forklift trucks and a company’s personnel, products and facilities. The barriers are modular in design, and feature steel rails that are easily assembled into a strong barrier to absorb the accidental impact exerted by mobile equipment. The rails are prefabricated five-inch by two-inch hollow structural section steel, and the four-inch by four-inch columns have heavy steel base plates.

The systems can be installed by the customer — and come complete with all of the required nuts, bolts, washers and anchors — or the customer can choose to have CPS install the barriers.

For more information on CPS protective barriers, contact Canadian Portable Structures. CPS has been a leader in designing, engineering and installing portable structures for 30 years. Its product line has been developed with customer needs in mind, and the company can guarantee a first-class product delivered on-time — in as little as one week for some standard products.
