This year, EXAIR has boosted its reputation even further with two awards for its recent developments: a Platinum 2022 New Product of the Year Award from Spaces4Learning, and an Occupational Health and Safety 2022 New Product of the Year Award.

Simplifying the filter-change process

Receiving the Spaces4Learning Platinum recognition in the Safety and Security Cleanup category, the EasySwitch HEPA Wet-Dry Vac is designed to simplify the filter-change process, in which users switch from vacuuming a dry material to a liquid, or vice-versa. The EasySwitch is a potent pneumatic vacuum that uses minimal compressed air, and EXAIR recommends it for any relevant application, whether wet, dry, light, or heavy. When vacuuming dry materials, the EasySwitch vacuum uses a standard or HEPA-certified filter.

The EasySwitch is a heavy-duty vacuum that works with any 55-gallon open top drum. It is maintenance free, with no motors to clog or wear out, and it meets the noise and pressure requirements of the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

The Occupational Health and Safety 2022 award went to the EXAIR HollowStream Liquid Atomizing Spray Nozzle in the Industrial Hygiene – Dust Control category. This innovative nozzle offers a hollow cone spray pattern for pressurized liquids, and the EXAIR team recommends it for solving cooling, cleaning, foam-breaking, rinsing, and dust-suppression applications in workplace contexts.

The HollowStream Liquid Atomizing Spray Nozzle has a vaneless tangential flow design that includes wide open internal features that resist clogging as they create a uniform distribution in a ring pattern, with droplets ranging in size from medium to large. In addition, the compact, right-angled design works very well with fluids that contain particulate.
