Hosokawa Micron powder-processing solutions are available from Firing Industries Ltd. Mixing and coating solutions

The automotive sector relies on press metal powder to make such products as gear wheels, bushings, and lobes for camshafts. A modern car contains 10 kilograms of sintered components on average, for instance. The use of sintered components has risen outside of the automotive industry too; press metal powder is common for producing parts of power tools, domestic appliances, locks, and pumps. The Hosokawa Micron Nauta is the perfect option for mixing metal powder. But applications that require a binder before pressing or sintering are better off with the Cyclomix. Depending on the batch size and type of material, the Cyclomix is ideal for these applications, particularly because of its extremely short mixing times and how easy it is to clean. The Cyclomix is also recommended for creating a uniform coating on every powder particle. This is good for coating particles with oil for higher protection from oxidization, for instance, and for mixing metal ingredients with waxes for easy release from the mould during pressing.
