Tube furnaces with wide temperature ranges, high-performance technology and many optional features are available from Process Heaters. They include solid- and split-tube designs with a range of options for heating elements, zone configurations, horizontal or vertical mounting, and more.

Solid or split tube

Hinged split-tube furnaces feature easy access. The standard split-tube furnaces are available in single- and three-zone types. They use ceramic half-round heating elements to reach maximum temperatures of 1,204 degrees C (2,200 degrees F). To optimize thermal efficiency, they have graded layers of insulation. In addition, they have insulating vestibules at the ends of the heated chamber that provide maximum temperature uniformity. Solid-tube furnaces can offer an economical option with many of the same capabilities.

Additional options

No matter what type of tube furnace is selected, they can be built to specific customer requirements. For instance, all Thermcraft furnaces are available with custom-designed temperature control packages. For any furnace, many process tube options are available, including alloy, mullite and high-purity alumina varieties. To provide viewports, these tube furnaces can be supplied with quartz viewing windows mounted into the furnace shell. Lastly, flanged alloy retorts are available that enable gas-tight operation.

Thermcraft quality

Customers can have confidence in the quality of these furnaces, as they are manufactured by Thermcraft, a leading global manufacturer that has been in operation since 1971. The company has a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with 70,000-square-feet of manufacturing space where it produces a wide range of furnaces, kilns, heater coils, cast heaters, recirculating ovens and more.
