melt pressure transducers

Melt pressure transducers are just one of Process Heaters' many offerings.

Industrial heating products are the specialty of Process Heaters, which provides a one-stop shop for heaters and related equipment for workplaces. This includes an impressive line of pressure transducers – not only general instruments, but also eight types of melt pressure transducers, built to accommodate a variety of applications.

Process Heaters gets its melt pressure transducers from Dynisco, the world’s top manufacturer of these products. Based on strain gauge technology, they operate at high temperatures at which standard pressure transducers would be more likely to fail. These sensors work with high accuracy, stability, and repeatability.

Burst plugs and more

Process Heaters’ group of melt pressure transducers are versatile enough to suit applications in multiple industries. The eight designs of these instruments available are as follows:

  • Burst plugs. The reliable last line of defence against excessive pressure;
  • Flanged melt pressure transducers. These sensors include a button seal connection for compatibility with special applications;
  • Mechanical gauges. This mechanical sensor is integrated with an analog display, which enables the simplest and most reliable measurement;
  • Non-filled melt pressure transmitter. Process Heaters supplies the Vertex non-filled melt pressure transmitter from Dynisco, which removes the uncertainty of fill material with the latest technology. This mercury-free sensor matches or exceeds the performance of a traditional sensor, but with more robustness, higher speed, and environmental friendliness;
  • Nozzle pressure transducers and transmitters. These pressure transducers are the perfect choice for applications with limited space;
  • Smart melt pressure transmitters. Smart melt transducers use a HART protocol for setup and use;
  • Threaded melt pressure transducers. With a reliable connection to the process, these sensors take up little space; and
  • Transducers with integral digital displays. Integrated with state-of-the-art digital displays, these sensors can show both pressure and temperature.

Melt pressure sensors are not the only kind of pressure transducers that Process Heaters distributes, of course. This company is also a valuable source of industrial transducers for oil and gas, food processing, chemicals, and other industries.
