Process Heaters designs and builds heaters to meet its customers’ specific requirements. Whether it’s to keep large tanks warm, to melt plastic or to dry paint, the Toronto-based company has a large selection of heaters to meet customer needs. Its offering includes a range of strip heaters.

The lineup

The company’s selection includes:

  • Channel strip heaters, which feature a high-temperature, seamless construction;
  • Finned strip heaters, which are optimized for heat transfer in airstreams;
  • The Maxistrip heater, an aluminum-bodied strip heater that provides highly uniform temperatures; and
  • The Mica, a thin strip heater for surface heating that provides very versatile design options to meet the needs of each application.

In addition to strip heaters, Process Heaters carries a range of band, cable, cartridge, cast-in, corrosion-resistant and flexible heaters, as well as high-temperature, process, radiant and tubular heaters from leading manufacturers. The company can also provide complete furnaces, single-loop process controls, multi-zone and hot runner controls, thermocouples, RTDs, pressure transducers, temperature and limit controls, and polymer test equipment.

Added value

Process Heaters not only supplies these products, but the company has the industry knowledge and many years of application experience to help its customers determine which solution most appropriately meets the needs of the application. Whether the customer requires the replacement of failed heaters or the design and construction of complete heating systems, Process Heaters’ trained personnel are always on hand to help.

“We listen first, and then provide your team with the expertise to which our customers have grown accustomed,” the company explains. “Technical experts are at your disposal. Our qualified team will listen and guide you in the selection of the most appropriate products to suit your application.”
