Control Concepts' (CCI) microprocessor-based SCR power controllers provide reliable, precise power control in both analog and digital environments. Among these, its MicroFusion is an ultra compact single-phase controller rich with features.

Safety and reliability are top priorities of the MicroFusion. One of the biggest features of the controller, as well as all Control Concepts' Fusion and Compact Fusion digital power controllers, is the Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) — a rating on components and assemblies representing the maximum level of short-circuit current that a component or assembly can withstand. They’ve all been tested up to 100 kA with internal protection of the current limit and over current trip defeated. A 100kA SCCR can have significant impact in meeting safety and insurance requirements.

Other features of the MicroFusion include:

  • Auto-ranging input voltage (24-600 VAC, 45-65 Hz);
  • 16-, 32-, 50-, 80-amp AC output (at 50 degrees C, 6,000 ft);
  • An adjustable soft start;
  • UL, cUL, CE, RoHS, 100kA SCCR certifications;
  • Missing cycle detection;
  • SYNC-GUARD and TRANS-GUARD;
  • Dedicated RUN/STOP bit;
  • Analog interface: up to two analog inputs, two retransmits;
  • Fieldbus options: DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, EtherCat, Profinet, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP;
  • Easy setup via Plug-n-Play USB; and
  • Thermistor.

MicroFusion is available with one of two circuit boards. Its SX is a lower-cost alternative, while its HX features CCI Link and is a fully populated board that can be field-upgraded to include retransmits and other features. Many options are also available, including general purpose input, second analog input channel, alarm relay, remote display and more.
